For Uni I have to make a 3D animation. This is one of the biggest assignments Computing has to offer.
Anyway - that´s the 2nd assignment. For the first assignment we have to make some objects that we can use in the 2nd assignment.
So I´ve been making a Dalek. Definatly not finished yet - but here´s where I´m up to.
And we are NOT using 3D Studio Max or anything like that - this is all done in C++ code for OpenGL. Yes - CODE...
So thats why it might not look all that impressive.
Still got a lot of work to do on it though...

Stargate SG1 Cancelled!!!!jawaproFri 01/09/2006 06:42 PM
It is a very sad day for us all.
One of the best - if not the best - shows on TV has been canceled. They are not renewing StarGate SG1 for another season.
Its a real blow - for the fans, the cast, and everyone.
There are plenty of groups trying to organize "Save Stargate" petitions and things - but I dont know if it´ll do much good.
There is also talk that SG1 may go on to make movies to end the series. I dont know - but hopefully it wont die completely.

Well - its finally here. A new layout for Jawapro.com. Its taken a fair bit of effert - so hopefully its worth it.
JawaPro.com is a few days away from being One Year Old!!! Not a bad first year.
Hopefully it´ll continue for many more.
Please - if you notice any broken links - or images that dont work - or anything like that - please let me know.

Ok - next year is going to ROCK as far as Strategy games go.
I´ve already mentioned Supreme Commander - which is the sequal to Total Anniahlation.
But there´s more.
The latest Command and Conquer game. Tiberium Wars!
And it looks GOOOD.
Go over to http://www.ea.com/commandandconquer/ and take a look at the gameplay trailer. It looks sweet.
And more importantly, they seem to have done a really good job with the story too. And FMVs are back. That´s right - real movie briefings, none of the stupid-in-game-only things like we got in Generals.
And from the looks of some of the clips, Kane is back - and so is his actor. Which is great, because he was one of the best villans ever - movies/games/books etc, he was one of the best in any form.
I honestly cant wait. I just hope my PC will be up to the task.
