Well - last night was a good night.
I had every intention of playing some RA3 and totally ignoring the Olypmics.
That changed with a phone call.
One of my friends (Tim) who I haven’t really talked to for ages rang me up and invited me over to his place to watch some movies and the Opening Ceremony.
So I went.

After an argument about which movie was better, Serenity or Fifth Element (I was on Serenity's side) we watched Serenity because a lot of people hadn't seen it. I sooo love that movie - but it probably dosn't make as much sense if you haven't seen Firefly first.
Then we watched the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics. Lots of Chinese guys on drums tried to give the world an epileptic fit.
It was interesting - and especially fun to laugh at the guys who stuffed up (like going the wrong direction or forgetting to turn their lights on/off) but it was defiantly the low point of the evening. Both movies were better.

The second movie was something I thought they called The Manchurian Utility. I'd never heard of it.
When they put the DVD in I realized I'd just misheard them, and it was called The Man Who Knew Too Little. I still hadn't seen it, and it's quite amusing.
