The class of 1954 ^
It's our 5 year reunion, and one of fellow classmates - the famous Rock 'n' Roley - has been murdered. Who did it? Well, we all tried, but that credit goes to Andrew (with help from Myself and Emma).
Yes, my sister hosted another "How to Host a Murder" party for her birthday (although a few weeks late). It was great fun though - thanks Loopy!

Targa Tasmania - The GamejawaproTue 10/11/2009 11:02 AM
According to the local newspaper yesterday, Targa Tasmania is finally being turned into a video game.
Personally I’ve been waiting for this since the early years of Targa. But with today’s current graphics etc, it should be pretty insane.
Not only that - but it’s being developed as a sim. That means it’s a realistic game, not some arcade racer like the recent Need for Speed games. You can even play as the navigator!
This means it’s less likely to have cars going head to head and stupid things like nitro-boost, and more likely to have a lot of stages, and hopefully fairly accurate ones.
Currently it’s being developed for the Xbox console. Not sure if they will port it to PCs.
It’s being developed by a company called DozyCow (awesome name!) and you can find a little more info at http://www.dozycow.com/
Can’t wait to go fanging around the Sidling!

Summer and Stone FruitjawaproMon 09/11/2009 06:55 PM
Summer seems to have arrived. Today was stupidly hot. Now, I’m sure people who like the heat would say it was only pleasant, but they are wrong. It’s far too warm to be ‘pleasant’.
Although the coming of Summer is something to dread as far as the weather goes - it does have it’s positives.
When I called into the supermarket to get some milk (for nice cold milkshakes) I noticed that stone fruit is available again!
As far as fruit goes - hardly anything can beat a good nectarine, peach, or apricot. The only thing that might be better are raspberries and blackberries.
Stone Fruit is still expensive at the moment, but that should improve as the season goes on.
So for a few minutes while drinking a ginger beer and enjoying a nectarine, I could forgive Summer for being so unbearable - but only for a few minutes.

My PajerojawaproTue 03/11/2009 10:05 PM
Well everyone, meet my new toy!
That’s right, I’m now the proud owner of a short wheelbase Pajero.
It might have an ugly bulbar, but I still love the way Pajeros look. I took it up to local swimming hole to take these photos. Nice backgrounds for a 4x4 if you ask me.
The biggest problem is that the air-con doesn’t work. With me hating heat – that’s something I’ll have to fix.
There’s a bit of damage on the passenger side door – but that’s ok. I plan to take it up the bush, so even if it was pristine, it wouldn’t stay that way.
In fact, after taking these photos, I took it to show Tim, and we went for a cruise through some tracks around his place, and it got a couple more scratches from some friendly branches, but it was fun and the Padge got Tim’s tick of approval.
Sitting next to my Subaru. Currently the Subaru needs a new starter motor, but once that’s fixed, I plan to use the Subaru as my main vehicle still, with the Pajero for playing in the bush.
So what do you think?

Nerf War!jawaproSat 31/10/2009 12:56 PM
To celebrate Zeke’s birthday, we invaded his house - literally!
We staged a Nerf night, with two teams who would alternate between attacking and defending Zeke’s house.
Tim explained the rules - when you were shot, you were dead until the match ended.
After a couple of warmup shots - we were ready to go.
With about 5 different ways to breech the house - it was quite challenging.
A couple of random shots of the night's fun:
James sneaking in the rear entrance.
Jason manning the machine gun as a defender.
Tim didn’t survive this round.
Taking cover!
Happy Birthday Zeke - and thanks for an excellent night.
You’ll be finding foam darts around the place for about the next month now...
