Oscar has air-con again!

After a couple of trips without it - it was my number one priority to get fixed. Then I broke the clutch etc, so it was pushed down the list a little.

But now that the car is running again, I took Oscar into Drive Automotive and Marine who do aircons, and they managed to get it going again. There were some leaks, broken wiring, and the guy said it hadn't been working in years. The guy who sold me the Pajero said it had died recently, so I'm not sure who to believe, but regardless, it's going again now.

It could still be colder (I like things COLD!) but it's a lot better than it was without air-con.

It's over for another year. Turkeybrain and his cohorts have squeezed themselves into the Commodore and returned to Hobart. Just in time for Turkey to roll his ankle while playing soccer, but that's another story.

It was a great week - thanks heaps for making it soo good guys.

Also thanks to Mike (Oblivion) who came out for the night on Thursday and took part in an epic game of Age of Empires 2 that finished about 2 in the morning. Mike and I lost, but only just.

Turkey has finally beaten me when I'm playing Vikings on a water map. Apparently wooden boats are not so good against fire ships. Turkey's navy might have ruled the seas, but Mike and I destroyed his base so that's all he had. Benny was wiped out early in the piece - so it was left to Noobjuice to slowly wear us down with 300 small assults. What a game!

Neptune really enjoyed having so many people around, but he's also enjoying the chance to relax now they've gone. I would too - except I've got to clean the house now. Doh!

My house has been invaded!

Well - that’s assuming it counts as an invasion when they’ve been invited anyway.

Turkey and 3 of his mates arrived on Monday. They didn’t quite all fit in his car, so they had to use the roof bars. Originally it was going to be Turkey plus 6 of his friends. That would have been insane!

Darth Strawberry (Martin W) and Noobjuice (James aka 300) set up in the kitchen.

Turkeybrain (Martin P) and Benny (Benny - unoriginal eh?) set up in the computer room.

On Wednesday James and Tim joined us and set up in the lounge room. They don’t seem to have nicknames either...

The collection of NERF guns. Minus mine, which I hadn’t bought out.

Dual Vulcans! Can you say overkill?

Tim is out for the count.

The aftermarth. And it’s only Wednesday. The guys are here until Friday!

Sorry I can't be bothered writing a detailed post here - but my house has been invaded and I'm a little distracted. Here at least are some photos from our 4x4 trip from Bellingham to Bridport.

Dad's Maverick had overheating issues.

Tim's Range Rover had issues with getting bogged (once).

It's embaressing to be the only one to get bogged isn't it Tim?

The Mighty Pajero was fine - this time. Considering how long it took to repair after the last time, I'm not getting too cocky.

I have just returned from a 4x4 trip from Bellingham to Bridport. Expect a more detailed post shortly - but for now just know that it was AWESOME and that the only car that got bogged and needed pulling out was Tim's Range Rover.

Oscar the mighty Pajero survived this trip with no issues. Hurray!
