Sorry about the strange behaviour of my website a few days ago. It seems I lost permission to the /tmp directory on the server, which affected both the php sessions and the database connection!
It seems to have come right for now.
Turks and I have been working on a more permament solution - so stay tuned.
It might have been happening faster - except I've been insanely tired lately - and haven't had the energy. I almost fell asleep on the way home from work today (only a 5 min drive) and dozed for a couple of hours in front of the tv when I made it inside. Not good...

According to The Age, the Australian prices for Win7 have been released.
Home Premium: $A299
Professional: $A449
Ultimate: $A469.
Why get Professional if Ultimate is only $20 dearer?
They also have upgrade prices for people who have bought Vista. An upgrade from Vista Ultimate to Win7 Ultimate is only $40 cheaper than buying it outright. Not sure why you'd upgrade - spend the extra $40 and you've got 2 legal OSs instead of just one.
It's a lot cheaper than Vista was originally. Whe I first looked at Ultimate, it was something like $750 retail. Win7 is starting out a lot cheaper.

On Friday night I was able to get a look at Tim's new rally Evo! It's an awesome machine.
Check out who was the last person to drive it (the sticker on the windscreen)! It might not have been Colin - but it's still insanely impressive.
I was allowed to sit in it briefly. Unfourtuantly I couldn't sit there longer, as the racing seat is narrower than I am, so I didn't really fit.
Can't wait to see it in action at a rally!
