The Gathering - Blindfold Challenge

I went to a 4WD club event called 'The Gathering' on the weekend. The turnout was rather small - but it was a lot of fun.

There was a pretty simple 4wd course that wasn't challenging anyone - until the blindfold challenge!

Imagine sitting in the drivers seat of your beloved truck with a blindfold on - listening to your wife/husband/mate giving you directions to get you around a twisty little technical course (with a couple of mud puddles thrown in). You gained a point each time you stopped moving or reversed - the least points won.

Would you trust your navigator to keep you from running into a tree?

As Oscar wasn't on the road (not to mention i didn't have any mates I'd trust with me) - I was on camera duty....

Would I trust you to give directions? Hmmm... not sure.

I probably would trust you to drive my car while I gave you directions though. The navigator has the harder job in this challenge.

I've decided to take that as a compliment that you would trust me to drive the car even if you wouldn't trust me to do the hard bit.
