It was a long weekend in Tassie to celebrate the Queens birthday, so we decided to head south for the weekend to catch up with Dad’s family.
As always - it was great and very relaxing to catch up with everyone down there (not to mention catching up on some sleep). We even did a little exploring around the place. Gotta love the beaches down there.
Dad’s car has a broken heater, so for someone reason he and Mum decided they’d trade a car with no heater, for a driver who doesn’t believe in them. So we all piled into Oscar for the trip down and back. I wasn’t completely heartless though - and did turn the heater on for a while.
I was also testing out a phone I might buy from a mate, and decided to try the web browser. Hint - don’t ever ever ever ever use data on a GSM plan if you don’t have a data pack. Chewed through about $15 in a MB. I’m prepaid so if it runs out, it stops. If you were on a plan, the charges could be insane.
Anyway - it was a great weekend. Hope you enjoyed yours...
