Bridport Test RunAuthor: jawapro

Dad’s been doing some work on his Maverick over the last few months to try and stop it’s overheating issues. It appeared to be improved on the road, but he couldn’t rule out that being due to the cooler weather, so wanted to take it somewhere it’d work hard to see how it went - so it was back to Bridport for another run!
This time it was just a family affair, with Dad, Mum, Emma, Klutz (cousin), and me in 2 cars. We didn’t do any of the sandboarding etc that Tim’s group did that last couple of times - but just enjoyed the drive.
Dad’s Maverick is much improved. Last trip it boiled after a few minutes driving - this time it went along fine. Although working hard on sand, it only got as hot as it used to when driving along the highway - which is a big improvement.
As this trip was primarily a test run - we hadn’t planned it very far in advance, and the tide was in exactly the wrong place when we arrived. Fortunately there were inland tracks around this section, and by the time we had lunch it was ok.
Although the trip was unrelated to the fact that Klutz and I had just had birthdays, it was a pretty awesome way to celebrate and catch up.
I love my Pajero!
