Sorry about the lack of posts lately – I’ll post about that sometime.
Anyway – this Saturday just gone – I was invited to head up the bush at the back of Burnie to watch the Hellyer Rally. (as Trojen would say – Hell Yeah!)
Tim Auty (my mate) was competing in his new Mitsub Evo.

Unfortunately, Tim’s Evo overheated – so he had to retire. I did see him go past on a stage once though (the only time during the day my camera lost focus!) and got to watch him on the Super Special at lunchtime.

It’s my first time watching an actual Rally in the flesh – not on the Tellie. It wasn’t bad.

^ A shot from the Super Special (it was a dash up an old runway around some motorkhana stlye obstacles and back).

So that was how I spent my weekend. Lots of fun really.

So Just to let you know, i've now picked up my 15 inch IBM LCD, which i'll be mounting. I've taken off the back to check it. (picked it up for about $48, i mean i could get it cheaper, but thats not to bad at all)
It will be mounted into the top of case. I can now measure and cut the hole so it will fit nicely.
I'll be then removing the surroundings of the monitor. and mounting it to the inside of the case. Just a quick thought, has bought me to using aluminium fram to do this. I'll have to put something together, and then find the best way to mount it inside. I'd prefer to have no scews showing, but who knows. it depends how hard it will be to mount inside.
