Three Monitors

Check it out - I've got three monitors now!

Two are directly attached to my PC, while the third is actually plugged into my server, but due to an awesome app call Synergy (thanks for the heads-up Klutz!) it works as an extension of my desktop too. So not only can I have different windows in all three monitors - I actually have 2 seperate processers to call upon - so the server can be doing something entirely different to the main system.

Pretty sweet eh?

Why don't you have the biggest one in the middle? That would make the most sense to me... Either way, I want. Unfortunately the only way I could get another screen onto my desk is if I was to get a VESA mounting bracket and mount it on the wall above my current screen. Hey, a screen vertically above my current one would be very useful, but a bit odd. Either way, I have a suspicion that CRT's don't generally come with VESA mounts, nor will the wall survive... Actually, I suppose I could fit a netbook somewhere if I cleaned up my desk...

Yes it would make more sense - except I don't really like widescreens. Makes browsing the net feel really wrong.

So I use it as my extra desktop space. It's by far the best monitor of the three - I just don't like it's widescreenness. Still - can't argue with the price!

I agree, widescreens are annoying. I'd much prefer a good 4:3 that's for sure! But that being said, I'm sure I could get used to one, especially if it meant I'd be using a better screen more often!
