Well - I'm waiting for the clothes dryer to finish the load before I can go back to my parents place for the rest of weekend - so I'll waste some time by posting about my well traveled bottle of ginger beer.
A while back, I was doing the grocery shopping, and I walked through the soft drink isle - stocking up on cheapest coke substitute. As I was walking through, I noticed the bottles of Bunderburg Ginger Beer.
Mum normally makes home-made Ginger Beer around hay-carting season. It tastes different to the bought stuff (I think its better), and I suddenly felt like some ginger beer - so I bought a bottle.
I took it home, put it in the fridge, and then forgot about it.
When I was getting ready to go down to Hobart for Turkey's birthday and things, I decided to take it with me to drink on the way.
I arrived in Hobart, and it still wasnt drunk. I took it in to Emmas, thinking I'd drink it for tea. But turns out the KFC we bought came with drinks, so I didnt drink it then either.
I was then planning to drink it for breakfast, but Emma had plenty of juice, so I didnt need to.
Then I took it with me to the Laser Skirmish thinking I'd drink it there, but then decided it looks a bit too much like a bottle of beer, and you're not allowed to have alcohol there, so I left it in the car.
I then planned to drink it on the way to Tarana on Sunday, but once again I didnt - and the same with the trip back up North.
So I carted it around all last weekend, and didn't end up drinking it. Emma found it all rather amusing.
Well - so as not to leave everyone is suspense - I finally drank it tonight.
There - that used up some time, my clothes should be dry by now....
