New Benq

Ever since we got a 2nd monitor at work - I've been wanting one at home too. It's soo much easier to work with 2 monitors. Especially when coding and things - but even during everyday stuff - that second monitor is fantastic.

One of my mates (Mr_Rod_Rules - thats what he calls himself) had a Benq E2200HD which is a pretty impressive screen. It's a 22" and Full HD etc. Well turns out he wanted to sell it for $100, which is a better price than ANY lcds I've seen lately, so I took him up on it.

I didn't particularly want a wide-screen, or such a fancy monitor - but for the price it was an insanly good deal - and the best I'd found anyway.

Still could do with another one or two cheap monitors (for servers and spares etc) but Turks might be able to help me there as he's going to a computer auction shortly.

And what did Mr_Rod_Rules upgrade to? A 23" monitor. That's a whole inch!

Sorry the picture doesnt do it justice. My current wallpaper is a rather small image - but that's a story for another post...

Not sure what the policy for discussing such things is - so I'd better not post about it.

Lets just say that I spent most of Sunday at work and that watercooling is not a good idea if your servers aren't designed for it.
