Michael Crichton and Don S. Davis

Sad news:

Michael Crichton has passed away. This happened a week or so ago, but my site was down so I couldn't report it.

For those who don't know - Michael Crichton has written some of my favorite books including Jurassic Park, Timeline, Prey, and Eaters of the Dead. These are all brilliant books.

Today I learnt that he wasn't the only person to bow out either. Don. S. Davis passed away as well. He's probably better known to you as General George Hammond (or Hammond of Texas) from StarGate.

Sad times indeed.

I didn't know about Don S Davis. I guess that none of the other Stargate movies will be featuring General Hammond. That's sad.
