Big Burger Is Watching You...

Well - Turkey has gone home (he left on Sunday arvo) but here are some photos from last week.

Hungry Jacks made headlines around the country a bit over a week ago when they released a Quad Stacker Buger. Why did it make the news? Apparently it's too big, too unhealthy, and should be banned.

So of course, Turkey and I had to try one.

2 bits of bun, 4 burgers, 4 bits of cheese, 2 bits of bacon, and some sauce. Not bad - but nothing like the monster it was made out to be.

Rather tame actually.

Here's a link to one of the many news stories:

Probably sold more burgers than anything the HJ marketing department could ever have dreamed up.

The burger itself was a complete disappointment. It was OK, but I wouldn't rush out for another one. If you want a really good big burger, Maccas actually does a much better job, with their "Pounder". 4 bits of meat, 4 bits of cheese, tastes like a quarter pounder, just 4x as big. Let me put it this way - I've had a couple of these, and I'd be more than happy to go for another one. Mind you, I'm also thinking of trying their "Double Pounder"...

I've now joined the club. Not a bad burger for a microwave job. It sparked a conversation on the mechanics of efficient and non-messy burger consumption. It was quite interesting. Anyway, not the big deal it was made out to be though...

Needed an egg.

lol--yeah, a lot of burgers need egg; they dont have many with. I personally prefer the McChicken burger: chicken breast, lettuce, and mayo.... although the Double Beef and Bacon Burger or whatever its called is pretty good too, though it is a MAJOR greasfest.

Overall, go to kfc.
