Stargate SG1 might have finished as a series - but this is the first of their Movies!

There's another one in the works, and maybe more to come after that.

The movie (The Ark of Truth) only officially came out on the 11th, but I'd ordered mine before that, and it arrived today.

Really looking forward to it - but I'm going to wait until the weekend and watch it with Mum (also a Stargate nut).

Once more through the gate my friends!

Yes, but unless you're comming up on the weekend, I dont know if I could force myself to wait until you're around.

Dont worry - I'll watch it with you when I get the chance too.

wow, i can't believe no one got angry at my comment. oh well it was a joke. :) I don't tell trouths when it comes to movies :P

Not sure if anyone is intrested, I'm going to Devonport on sunday with some friends to see Run fat boy run.

Rob your invited, but you have church :S I was arranging to see 10,000 bc that day but then realised that you wern't going to be there :S

If I had thought you might have been telling the truth - I'd have hunted you down and killed you for spoiling it (well, maybe not quite kill). But as there is another movie already finished (they are releasing shortly) its pretty safe to assume at least some of the characters will survive.

And thanks for holding off on 10,000BC. I spend most of my weekends in Exeter anyway - but if you give me some warning, I'll stay in Dport for a movie on a Friday or Saturday. (or you could come through during the week sometime).

I was planning on making a seperate post for this - but its late and I'm tired, so I'm not going to do it today.

The movie was good. Very good in fact, but it wasnt brilliant.

It was like a good Stargate episode - which is great. But it wasnt a huge deal more than that.

Serenity really took Firefly to the next level - but The Ark of Truth wasnt that much bigger than a standard 2 parter for Stargate.

Thats not a totally bad thing though - cause it fits with the series really well.

And if they can keep producing them to this quality - I'll keep buying and watching.

And in case anyone is wondering - Nifen was wrong.
