Movember - the Side Burns might be comming off!

Movember (the month formally known as November) is a month for charity. Or something like that.

Here's what happens. Guys can sign up and raise money by getting sponsers, and growing a mo.

So I agreed to join the work team and raise a bit of money and see what I look like with a mo. Terreth reakons I should grow a large on that joins on to my sideburns.

BUT - HERE'S THE NEWEST DEVELOPMENT!

If I get a few donations (or promises of donations) before Wednesday (there's a big shave-off here at work- the Examiner is comming)...

I'll let them shave my side-burns off.

Yep Turkey, Nifen, Littlesis, and all you other side-burn haters - here is your chance!

Of course, you'll probably hate my mo too, but thats besides the point. Mum said she'll sponser me as long as the mo comes off at the end of the month - so I guess I'll have to go along with that.

No, hang on - here's a better idea. If I get sponsered an even amount then I'll shave it off - if I end up with a odd number in my sponsership kitty, then I wont :) - so there's a challenge to everyone!

If I dont get any sponsership at all - I'll keep both the sideburns and the mo.

Sound reasonable?

So if I get some sponsorship before Wednesday, my sideburns will come off in the great shave-off. But even if you miss that opertunity, you've got a chance to sponser me in the mo growing anyway.

And all money goes towards Men's Health (especially Prostate Cancer research). It's sort of like the bloke's version of Pink Ribbon day (although we claim a whole month).

Hey, I didn't say I didn't like the sideburns, they're an institution. I just agree with LittleSis in saying they may be getting a bit long.

But that doesn't mean I won't donate! To make you lose hair for a good cause (hang on, is it the enjoyment I will get at you losing your hair or the charity that's the good cause?) is something I'm all for. It just means I'll have to convince the parents to let me use their credit card again. Or I could just give you the cash in person next weekend, seeing you're coming down and all that.

Count me in! I'll give you the money on the weekend. It will be odd to see you without them, though: It must be about 4 or 5 years since they appeared.

rob i dislike your side burns, you look in your 40's and that is BAD considering your only 24 or something.

If you shave them off, i'll give you 20 dollors!! :)

I would recommend not shaving all of it off though. maybe leaave about 3 cm's at the top.

Then you'd look manly. or at least guyish. not monkeyish. :)

I think i'll go do that then.

But also I think i solved your server issue.

You can control 2 computers with 1 computer making it look like 2 monitors. soo in theory, you should be able to extend your display onto your laptop screen which would mean you can control your server using your laptop screen... (i hope)
